My blog is about “Who Killed JFK?” I am not a believer that Lee Harvey Oswald made the kill shot. He may have made the first and second shots. I have watched many documentaries this month marking the 50th anniversary. The Smoking Gun makes the most sense to me. A forensic doctor has studied the entry wound of Kennedy’s head. First of all it was a hole the size of 6 mm. Oswald bullets were 6.5. Three bullets were found on the floor of the Book Depository but one was a plug used to keep the barrel clean of dust. One bullet was found away from the other two and it was the plug. Oswald must have ejected it before sitting down to shoot the other two shots. Also the trajectory of the bullet was from the lower left side. It is hard to come in from that angle if you are shooting from the 6th floor of a building. 48 witnesses said the 2nd & 3rd shots were close together. 22 witnesses said they smelled gun smoke. The wind was blowing 11 mph from the south. Once again it would be hard to smell gun smoke on the ground if it is coming from the 6th floor of a building. Even Senator Yarborough smelled gun smoke–he was riding in the car directly behind the Secret Service car.
This is what The Smoking Gun theorizes: Secret Service Agent George Hickey was with the force for just 4 months. His job was to keep the maintenance on the limos. The night before several of the agents went out drinking in Dallas until the wee hours in the morning. So Agent Hickey was moved up to riding in the car directly behind President Kennedy. Hickey heard the first shots and grabbed an AR15 semi-automatic rifle from the floor of the car, (there are pictures back in 1963 showing him with the rifle in his hand moments before the third shot) he turned to look up at the Book Depository building with rifle in hand cocked and ready to fire. The driver of his car made a sudden hit of the brakes which threw him backwards and he pulled the trigger accidentally. This explains the trajectory of the kill shot-from the lower left. The AR-15 rifle uses 6mm bullets-explains the entry wound size. With the wind blowing from the south that would explain why Senator Yarborough and 21 other witnesses smelled gun smoke. The bullet Oswald used was one that would go straight through something, which is why it went through Kennedy and into Connally. The bullet coming out of the AR15 is one that explodes upon impact. That would explain the fragments found during the autopsy. There was evidence like rolls of film and notes taken during the autopsy that was all confiscated by the Secret Service before anyone could leave the room. I ask you WHY? Maybe to cover up an accident by one of their agents. This is one of those “huh” moments in life. We all have our beliefs in what really happened. I have swayed from one idea to another but this one makes the most sense to me. This also would explain why witnesses said the second and third shots were so close together. Take this as a grain of salt. We will probably NEVER know what really happened in Dallas on November 22, 1963.
