My blog is about the beautiful winters in Iowa.  For those of you who live down south or out west you miss out on the cold and snowy winters.  You wake up in the morning and the temperature is 10 below without wind chill.  By the afternoon it actually got up to 15 degrees and you think that it doesn’t feel too bad compared to below zero.  Then you realize you have to scoop the 4 inches of snow that we got overnight.  You go to the garage and realize the snow blower won’t start and now you have to get the shovel out and do it manually.  As you are cussing out the snow blower you stop and pause and realize if I lived further north I would be scooping 15 inches of snow at 20 below zero.  Now I feel pretty good about the beautiful winters in Iowa!
